Michelle Hong, Chair of the Board of Directors

As Board Chair, Michelle leads the Board’s efforts to fight hunger in our communities. She was recently named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 under 40 for 2012, a prestigious honor that recognizes young professionals in the Delaware Valley for outstanding success and contributions to their community.

Michelle is an attorney and Director of Wealth Planning at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., a private bank offering investment management and trust services. A Philadelphia native, Michelle holds degrees from Duke University and Harvard Law School. Michelle also serves on the board of the acclaimed Pig Iron Theatre Company, and she co-chairs the Legacy Advisors group of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Michelle lives in Center City with her husband, Alex Goranin, and their young twin daughters, Josephine and Charlotte.
