Due to both a weak economy and the development of new markets, food donations to Philabundance have been decreasing.  In order to assure a consistent supply of high-quality, nutritionally sound food and to continue our efforts to reach more of those in need, we must increase the amount of food we purchase.  Philabundance’s Food Fund is specifically designed for this purpose: for every dollar you contribute to the Fund, 90 cents goes directly to food purchase, while the remaining 10 cents covers the costs of storage and distribution.  Your gift to the Food Fund helps assure that our neighbors are not at risk of hunger.
