What does summer mean to you? BBQs, vacation, trips to the shore? For thousands of kids around the Delaware Valley, it means living without free or reduced-price meals at school, and watching their parents struggle to get food on the table. During the school year, nearly 300,000 children receive these meals in the Delaware Valley. Sadly, many of them will have to go without them this summer.
Parents are now faced with how to provide those meals during the summer months. We’re pledging to do everything we can to help parents faced with this problem get the food they need by ensuring every child has a meal this summer. But we can’t do it alone. We’re calling on you to help.
