School Food Drives

Education comes in many forms. Hosting a food drive is a powerful way to help students understand the impact of food poverty and positively affect change in the Delaware Valley. From elementary schools to college campuses throughout the region, schools are creating meaningful campaigns that put food on the table for those in need—many of whom are children.

Philabundance has gathered the tools your school needs to launch a successful food drive, including a checklist to launch your event, a collection guide to ensure you collect the most useful items and answers to frequently asked questions to get your drive in full gear. Food that is collected at your food drive is sorted in our warehouse and then becomes available to a network of nearly 500 agencies across the Delaware Valley. Philabundance employees and our dedicated volunteers repack all of our non-perishable donations so that we can quickly and easily distribute a wide assortment of food to the community.
