Who doesn’t love a bit of friendly competition, especially when the winners are our communities in need? The Corporate Beet Down is a year-long campaign that will track your company’s volunteer, fundraising and food drive efforts. Companies from across the Delaware Valley are participating to earn top honors. In addition to a flashy trophy and bragging rights, if your company accumulates the most points throughout the year, we’ll share your accomplishment through our press and social media outlets.
Our volunteer department will be tracking your involvement, so you can check in anytime to see how your efforts are stacking up against the competition.

April 14th, 8 AM to Noon, The Walk Against Hunger
Each team member will earn you two points! We’re hoping for a big showing of supporters who let everyone know that we won’t tolerate hunger in our communities!

June, Community Food Center
This is a great time for small groups of employees to try out the Community Food Center, where you can work directly with people from the community who are coming to get food! Double points all month, and you’ll be helping us make up for the volunteers we lose when school lets out. Email David Chiles at dchiles@philabundance.org if you would like more info.
July and August, Produce Packing!
Think ahead to schedule for the summer! We’re expecting huge volumes of produce this summer and we’ll really need teams down at the Hunger Relief Center. Help us sort and pack these local fruits and veggies so we can get the harvest out into the community! Double points will be offered both months!
