We value our partners in the fight against hunger, and we hope you will join us. To become a food donor, simply let us know what type of product your organization would like to donate. Your donation will help the numerous Delaware residents who benefit from the food we distribute through our network of more than 600 agencies. 

It is simple to join Philabundance as a food donor. The benefit to your company is that you will receive recognition for your donation through our website and newsletter, along with the satisfaction of knowing your surplus food is helping feed people in need. Philabundance is especially in need of donations of fresh fruits and vegetables, sliced sandwich breads, and our TopEight most requested non-perishable items.   

 
Businesses wishing to be placed on a regular pickup schedule can make arrangements directly with Philabundance staff. Qualified pickups are usually made once or twice a week.

Companies with occasional surplus food can call Philabundance to arrange pickup for qualified donations. Food donors will receive a receipt for each donation upon request. This is the only paperwork required. All food donors are protected under state and federal "Good Samaritan Act" laws.

In order to be eligible for pick-up, a donation must be at least 300 pounds of food, about ten full copy paper boxes worth. If you have a donation that is less than 300 pounds, we’re happy to accept walk-in donations at either our Berks or Galloway warehouses.  If you’d prefer, we can connect you with one of our member agencies in your area who can receive your food delivery directly.

Food Donation Guidelines
