Are you a master baker? Get your head out of the gutter and join the rest of the competitors in the Cupcake Smash.

On April 28th, Philabundance and PYT will join together in efforts to choose from dozens of competitors that will enter this delicious challenge. All bakers, both amateur and professional, are strongly encouraged to try out by sending requests to coordinator Melissa Mae at cakesforcauses@gmail.com.

Judging this year will be Tony Luke Jr. of Tony Luke’s, PYT’s Tommy up, City Paper’s Drew Lazor, Radio 104.5’s Wendy Rollins, and Phrequency founder Leah Kauffman (woo hoo!).

Can’t stand the heat? Get out of the kitchen and purchase tickets to attend the bake-off and sample over a dozen of the competitors’ delicious treats as well as live music, complimentary beverages courtesy of PBR, St. Germain and Fuze, plus snacks from the Piazza’s outdoor food vendors. Sheesh.

100% of the proceeds will go to Philabundance, Delaware Valley’s largest relief organization to help fight hunger. So awesome.
