6ABC, Dunkin Donuts & ACME Raise 100,000 Meals

Share. Give. Connect. That was the theme of this year’s annual 6abc/Dunkin Donuts holiday food drive. Along with Partners, ACME, the food drive raised a combined total of 100,000 meals for those in need.

The holiday food drive included a series of ways to get involved ranging from a boy scouts food pickup, a drop-off at the Thanksgiving Parade, an ACME checkout program where customers could donate food and money at checkout and a campaign from Dunkin Donuts where every new like to Dunkin Philly generated a $10 donation from Dunkin Donuts.

ACME’s checkout program raised more than $36,000 while Dunkin Donuts and 6ABC donated checks amounting to $15,000. Additionally, the Boy Scouts raised nearly 27,000lbs of food on their pick-up.

We’d like to send a warm thank you to 6ABC, Dunkin Donuts, ACME, and the Boy Scouts and of course, all of our supporters, for making this food drive a success. The food collected will benefit many families across the Delaware Valley beyond the winter months.
