Charity Rollover Tucked In Tax Law

On December 17, 2010 President Obama signed the 2010 Tax relief Act into law extending the IRA Charitable Roll Over Provision! This provision will allow people to contribute up to $100,000 to their favorite charities by simply rolling over their IRAs. Because the bill was passed so late, a special tax exception is being offered to anyone who rolls over their IRAs between now and January 31, 2011. This means your contribution from your IRA today is tax deductible in the 2010 tax year! Contact Tina Rothfuss, Annual Giving Manager for more information.
