Dunkin’ Donuts will donate $1 to Philabundance for every new “Like” on the DunkinPhilly Facebook page through December

Philadelphia, Penn. (December 13, 2011) – Dunkin’ Donuts in Greater Philadelphia is partnering with Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization, to help fight hunger this holiday season. In conjunction with the 6abc Dunkin’ Donuts Holiday Food Drive, Dunkin’ Donuts in Greater Philadelphia is also donating $1 (up to $10,000) for every new “Like” on the DunkinPhilly Facebook page (www.facebook.com/DunkinPhilly) through December 31.  According to Philabundance, every click provides two meals to a neighbor in need.

“Dunkin’ Donuts has a strong commitment to the Greater Philadelphia Region and to the communities we are proud to keep running every day,” says Jacqueline Keown, Manager of Field Marketing, Mid-Atlantic Region, Dunkin’ Donuts. “We’re proud to be working with Philabundance through the 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Holiday Food Drive and invite everyone to help us fight hunger and support the families in our region that need it most this holiday season.”

“Dunkin’ Donuts is a true community partner and we can’t thank them enough for creating such an engaging and impactful campaign to support Philabundance,” said Bill Clark, president and executive director of Philabundance. “Philabundance and our agencies have experienced a 26 percent increase in need compared to this time last year and we need all of the help we can get to provide food to families in need this holiday season.”
