Do I need to be a U.S. citizen to get food assistance from you?

Our free produce markets require NO proof or documentation. Our member agencies vary in their requirements. Use the zip code finder above to search for an agency near you.

How can I apply for food stamps (SNAP)?

Can I lose my food stamps if I receive free food from Philabundance?

NO. Receiving food at a Philabundance program or agency will not affect your government benefits.

Are you able to help me with anything other than food? Housing assistance? Employment resources?

Philabundance does not offer assistance with those services but we have compiled a list of resources, broken down by county. Operators at WhyHunger 1-800-5-HUNGRY(486479) will also be able to connect you to local resources.

I’m a senior – what kind of food assistance is available to me?

As a senior, you can visit any of our agencies or free farmers markets. We also have programs specifically for seniors, including CSFP, a government-funded program providing older adults with a 30 pound box of food and 2 pounds of cheese monthly. They are also referred to as “Senior Boxes”. You do not have to be a U.S. citizen to receive senior boxes; you may use a resident alien card. Receiving food at a Philabundance program or agency (including CSFP) will not affect your government benefits.

Can I come to Philabundance to get food?
