Hallie’s Bat Mitzvah Benefits Philabundance
To celebrate her Bat Mitzvah, a coming of age ceremony in the Jewish religion, Hallie decided she wanted to give back to her neighbors in need. She chose Philabundance to help her do that. Hallie had this to say about her decision to fight hunger in her region:
In lieu of elaborate decorations, my family and I decided to make a donation to Philabundance. I chose Philabundance because I wanted my mitzvah project to address hunger and they are the largest hunger relief organization in this region. They supply food to those in need in 9 counties across the Delaware Valley. I share in their belief that absolutely no one should go hungry. My friends and I collected cans and made cards for elderly shut-ins who rely on Philabundance food. I hope to continue to work to end hunger.

Philabundance would like to thank Hallie for her incredible generosity and willingness to help those who need it most.
