Nooner: Southampton church hosting food drive with Philabundance

Southampton’s Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is linking up with Philabundance, the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, in hopes to collect food for those in need in the Philadelphia region. The drive will begin May 1 and run until June 11.

All groups and/or organizations interested in participating in the drive will collect food during these dates. The church is challenging all groups to raise 500 pounds of food in six weeks. All groups who participate are responsible for bringing any food collected to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday, June 10 from 4 to 9 p.m. or Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
