Philabundance Auctioning Tickets to Bruce Springsteen Shows with Chance to Meet the Boss

Springsteen Will Match Up to $50,000 per Night

PHILADELPHIA–April 7, 2009– Philabundance will auction a set of four tickets to each of Bruce Springsteen’s April 28 and 29 shows at the Wachovia Center, with an opportunity to personally meet the Boss.  Philabundance, the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, will accept bids via their website – – between April 13 and April 21.

Bruce Springsteen is donating tickets to auction to help provide a source of revenue during these tough times for food banks across the country. Philabundance has four tickets available for auction for the April 28 show and four tickets for the April 29 show in the loge section in the first five rows. Tickets will be awarded to the highest bidder, and in order to meet Springsteen during the meet and greet, a minimum bid of $10,000 for the four tickets must be met. Bidding opens for the two sets of four tickets on – with a minimum bid of $2,000 per set – on April 13 at 12 p.m. and closes on April 21 at 12 p.m.

The minimum bid for the meet greet was established by Springsteen’s management company in an effort to bring each food bank the most funds for their organization. Springsteen will match the winning bid for each set of four tickets per night up to $50,000.

Philabundance is the region’s largest hunger relief organization fighting hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley.
