Philabundance Community Kitchen Chef Competes on “Chopped”

Ms. Linda Miles, former Executive Chef at Philabundance’s Community Kitchen program traveled to New York to compete on the Food Network program Chopped.

Chopped is a cooking competition show that’s all about skill, speed and ingenuity where four up-and-coming chefs compete before a panel of three expert judges and take everyday items and turn them into an extraordinary three-course meal. Host, Ted Allen, leads this high energy, high-pressure show which will have viewers rooting for a winner and cheering for the losers.

The Unsung Heroes episode awarded $10,000 to the best competing chef from Philabundance, Capital Area Food Bank of Texas, MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance) and Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans & Acadiana.
