Philabundance’s network of 350 member agencies is key to our serving over more than 90,000 people each week. Comprised of food cupboards, neighborhood distributions, shelters, emergency kitchens and other social services such as daycare and senior centers, our agencies are on the front lines each and every day, helping to distribute millions of pounds of emergency food.
Member agencies can access a variety of Philabundance distribution services including:
- Orders for items listed on the weekly Philabundance Food Bank menu, The Grapevine, which can be delivered to an agency on request or picked up at the Berks location.
- Weekly delivery of products (this applies to agencies meeting specific criteria)
- Weekly pickup of products from local hub distributions (available as space allows)
The ever-evolving network of agencies and direct
neighborhood distribution programs has enabled Philabundance to address the complex factors of food insecurity by distributing more emergency food into the hands of our neighbors who need it most.
At this time, we are not accepting new member applications. We are planning on accepting new applications again in September 2016. Please contact us then if you are still interested in applying for membership. In the interim, here is a list of additional resources if you are interested in partnering with other local agencies.
If you are a current member agency, please click here to access the 2015-16 Philabundance Member Agency Manual.
