TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Philabundance Beet Hunger Bash-11/7/14 Celebrates 30 Years of Driving Hunger From Our Communities

Philadelphia, Pa,- September 16, 2014- Tickets are now on sale for Philabundance’s Beet Hunger Bash, an event honoring 30 years of driving hunger from the Delaware Valley.

This interactive Bash, honoring founder, Pamela Rainey Lawler, will bring event-goers on a journey that includes both the past and the future of an organization that is navigating a vital road ahead. The goal is to raise enough money to provide 500,000 meals to people in need. This one-time, anniversary event will take place on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum (6825-31 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, Pa 19153) from 7-10 pm. General admission tickets are $150. Young professionals under 30 pay $75. Tickets can be purchased online at www.philabundance.org/BeetHungerBash.

Philabundance serves thousands of people each week in nine counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey through a network of nearly 450 member food pantries, shelters and emergency kitchens. Philabundance has traveled far since Pam Rainey Lawler filled up her blue Subaru station wagon and embarked on a mission—to deliver food to neighbors in need. Millions of miles, truckloads and life-changing moments later, Philabundance is as vital, innovative and infused with passion as ever.
