The Tri-State Toyota Dealers Association and its partner organizations carried out the 4th annual Toyota Tundra food drive delivery to Philabundance’s Hunger Relief Center in South Philadelphia .  A convoy of 23 Toyota Tundra pick up trucks driven by representatives of local Toyota dealerships delivered a total of 20,100 lbs of non perishable food, more than doubling last year’s totals of 10,000 lbs.

Special guests helping to unload food included Hip-Hop of the Philadelphia 76ers, The Phanatic of the Philadelphia Phillies, two time Stanley Cup winner Bob Kelly of the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies play-by-play personalities Scott Franzke and Tom McCarthy, staff representatives of the Philadelphia Union and Comcast SportsNet, and Tri-State Toyota Dealers Association President Paul Muller.

Philabundance would like to thank the Tri-State Toyota Dealer’s Association for continuing to be warriors in the fight against hunger. The more than 20,000 lbs of food collected from this year’s food drive will ensure that those in need get a meal this holiday season and well after the holiday season.
