PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — This year’s 6abc Dunkin’ Holiday Food Drive Telethon was a huge success, raising $81,426 during the two-and-a-half-hour event Tuesday afternoon.
The total tops last year’s fundraiser by $15,000.
6abc President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica and Vice President of Community Engagement Nikki Hawkins were on hand to deliver a $15,000 donation from Disney, 6abc’s parent company.
All proceeds benefit Philabundance and other regional food banks to help feed those in need across the region.
