For the 26th year in a row, Philabundance is joining forces with WMMR’s Preston & Steve to CAN hunger for good and to provide healthy meals to communities facing food insecurity in the Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey regions this holiday season.

The 2023 Totals are in!

Over 1.7 MILLION pounds of food.
1,757,021lbs to be exact. Over 878 TONS of food.
Monetary: $948,732.

Largest donation by a business / group / organization:

- 1^st place: A Live Broadcast from Preston & Steve: Subaru of America – 672,704
- 2^nd place: Pierre Broadcast: Comcast – 293,013
- 3^rd: $20,000 Q1 Ad Schedule on MMR: Campbell’s Chunky Soup – 100,808
- New this year, Random Drawing Prize from among all Business Challenge participants: an in-studio visit to see the Preston & Steve Show live: CJ Watson Electrical – 1,827 pounds.
- The Camp Out For Hunger Games generated an additional 10,000 pounds of food from Bimbo Bakeries USA… that’s on top of their $10,000 donation.

In the parking lot of Xfinity Live! inside the Wells Fargo Center Complex

Returning for the 26^th year, Preston & Steve will once again be “camping out” for hunger, bringing their unique brand of fun to you live from the parking lot of Xfinity Live! inside the Wells Fargo Center complex. Listeners are encouraged to bring a food donation and come experience the fun with friends and family. The week-long live broadcast blitz and food drive, which kicks off Monday, November 13, will feature local and national celebrities, TV personalities, star athletes, sensational bands, and many other dedicated hunger heroes who come together each year to support this vital cause.

In 2022, the event raised an astounding one million dollars and more than 2.6 million pounds of food – that’s over 1400 tons of healthy groceries!

Camp Out for Hunger is open to everyone, and visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods and other non-perishables to help us feed our neighbors in need.
