Join us in the Fight against Hunger

Philabundance works with over 350 community partners throughout our nine-county service area to distribute food to community members. Our partners include community centers, shelters, places of worship, and other locations where the community can access essential services, such as hospitals, libraries, and schools.

Become a Philabundance Community Partner

Please review the following criteria to see if your organization is eligible to become a Philabundance Community Partner.

My organization: 

  • Is a federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization or religious institution
  • Has distributed food or meals consistently for the last three months, with records to show that we serve at least 25 households or 500 meals a month
  • Provides services to clients without regard to race, color, citizenship, religion, gender, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation including gender identity or expression, unfavorable discharge from the military or status as an unprotected veteran
  • Maintains clean and safe facilities for storage and distribution of food and meets local, state, and federal health requirements
  • Operates out of a space that is zoned appropriately within your territorial jurisdiction and is not a private residence
  • Is not a private foundation or foster parent association
  • Maintains a valid email address
  • Has at least one staff member who holds a current commercial food safety certification (for meal providers only)

A Philabundance representative will reach out to you if membership is appropriate for your organization. Please note, Philabundance is actively seeking partners who are interested in participating in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP/Senior Box). 

Philabundance also works with a variety of social service institutions that provide additional services to clients (including health care providers, libraries, schools, housing authorities, and more).
