Philabundance collaborates with local farmers in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey to provide fresh, local produce to our hungry neighbors throughout the Delaware Valley.
When our partners find themselves with surplus or unmarketable produce our volunteers harvest — or glean — that produce, which is then taken back to our warehouse to be sorted and distributed back into the communities we serve.
When is gleaning season? Weather depending, our season runs from June through October. Gleans take place on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.
Can I help glean? We’d love to have you on the farm! Check out our gleaning volunteer calendar to view shift times and register yourself and/or a group.
Where does Philabundance glean? Philabundance gleans on farms in both PA and NJ. Our current partners include:
A.T. Buzby Farm
21 Black Rd, Woodstown, NJ 08098
63 Pennsville Pedricktown Rd, Pedricktown, NJ 08067
How do I become a farm partner? If you have excess produce on your farm you’d like to donate to Philabundance then please call 215.339.0900 or email our Food Acquisition Team with your contact information and a staff member will be in touch with more information.
