Join Preston & Steve's BUSINESS CHALLENGE

The Business Challenge invites local companies to combat hunger alongside Preston & Steve by competing to see who can donate the most funds and food during Camp Out for Hunger. See the sponsorship levels below and increase your chances of winning the Business Challenge by hosting a food drive (and dropping off your total donations durng Camp Out) or a virtual food drive.

All Business Challenge participants must complete the pledge form below and commit to a minimum cash donation of $5,000 to Philabundance. See the sponsorship levels below for more information.

Donate and make a difference. After committing to the Business Challenge, donations submitted from September 1 through the last day of the event (November 20) will count toward the contest. Monetary donations will be used to purchase food for our neighbors in need.

What Can We Win?

For the purpose of the contest, cash donations are added to food donations, and winners are reported in pounds of food. The conversion rate used for the contest is $1 = 3 pounds of food. Winners of the Business Challenge will be announced live on 93.3 WMMR during The Preston & Steve Show a few days after the event ends.

Small Business Drawing!

If you are a local/small business donating to Camp Out for Hunger, you can be entered into a drawing to be highlighted as the Preston & Steve Show Sponsor for a Day! Every first Friday of the month following Camp Out for Hunger (December through May,) one of the six winners of the drawing will receive $5,000 worth of live mentions during the Preston & Steve Show that morning.

VIP Sponsor: $25,000

Camp Out Deliverables:

  • Space for 10’x 10′ tent with electricity at Food Trucks Fireworks event
  • On-air interview with Preston & Steve and broadcast tam during Camp Out for Hunger
  • Opportunity to have a needs analysis marketing consultation from WMMR

More Details

WMMR schedules on-air interviews and mentions about one week before the event and cannot accommodate requests for specific dates/times.

Post Camp-Out volunter opportunities at Philabundance can accommodate 15 people and must be scheduled with the Philabundance Events and Volunteers tam at volunteer@philabundance.org.

VIP tours of the Camp Out site are scheduled by Philabundance’s Corporate Relations team.

Logos and giveaway items for the VIP area must be received by Philabundance no later than November 1.

Contact Ali Corr at acorr@philabundance.org to remit payment by check, credit card, or ACH. Payment must be received by December 31, 2026.

Pick up Camp Out for Hunger collection boxes!

Beginning October 1, food drive collection kits are available for pick up Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at any of these Philabundance locations while supplies last.
