November 2020 Newsroom

November has always been a busy month for Philabundance, as the holidays often come with an increase in food insecurity. Thanks to the generosity and support of individuals, corporations, media outlets and more, the fight against hunger was the topic of the month.

The 22nd Annual Camp Out for Hunger brought in more than 2.5 million pounds of food and nearly $2 million to help meet the increased need caused by COVID. 6ABC, Acme and Dunkin hosted their annual telethon benefitting Philabundance, with 6ABC airing pieces on our hunger relief efforts and partnerships. Thousands of people across Greater Philadelphia and the world joined in on the Fraud Street Run fun and helped Philabundance along the way. Check out some of November’s press highlights below!
