Since 2011, Citizens and the Phillies have teamed up with Philabundance to fight hunger across Greater Philadelphia, raising over half a million dollars to provide more than one million meals for our neighbors in need.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a serious impact on food insecurity in the region, an already troublesome issue for Philadelphia, America’s poorest big city. Since the start of the pandemic, the Philabundance agency network has seen a 60% increase in the need for food across our service area. To help those in need during these challenging times, please support us through this year’s Phans Feeding Families Night & Food Drive!
