A program that puts fresh produce into the hands of those who need it most. Like a traveling farmer's market, Fresh For All returns to the same site every week at the same time and day - establishing dependable access to produce. 
A food pantry following a choice model of distribution where clients choose from available items rather than receiving a prepared bag or box. Choice pantries promote dignity and respect for those in need. 
Provides eligible low-income seniors with boxes of USDA-donated food that Philabundance sorts and delivers on a monthly basis. Interested seniors can call the Food Help Line 800-319-Food (3663) to be directed to a Commodity Supplemental Food Program location near them. 
An adult culinary arts vocational training program that supplies critically needed meals to agencies and area emergency kitchens serving people with food insecurity. 
The Emergency Food Box program is under review and no longer active. If the Emergency Food Box program is not renewed, Philabundance will continue to find new approaches to provide relief for families in need of food assistance through our community agency partners and direct service programs. The Grocers Against Hunger program works with grocery stores in the Delaware Valley to prevent unnecessary food waste from filling our landfills while feeding neighbors who need it most. 
Lack of access to healthy food is a critical issue in the Delaware Valley. There are 35 food deserts in Philabundance’s nine county service area as determined by the USDA, 
People in need of food can call 800-319-Food (3663) to find food assistance nearest to them. The 800 number is answered by a dedicated bilingual Philabundance staff member Mon-Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
