2025 Camp Out for Hunger Announces Final Numbers

For the 28th year in a row, Philabundance joined forces with WMMR’s Preston and Steve to collect food and funds to support those facing hunger ahead of the holiday season. From Monday, November 10, to Friday, November 14, Preston and Steve hosted their beloved radio show in the parking lot of Xfinity Mobile Arena.

This year’s Camp Out for Hunger saw a 27% increase in donations compared to previous years, raising over 1.8 million pounds of food and over $1.6 million which will go directly to supporting neighbors in Philabundance’s nine-county service area. At a time when thousands of people are facing hunger for the first time because of the government shutdown and a lapse in SNAP benefits, these contributions are vital to provide stability to those who are food insecure.

Many donations were made in honor of WMMR talk show host, Pierre Robert, who passed away on October 29, 2025. Pierre was an avid fan of Camp Out for Hunger who passionately supported the event and encouraged his listeners to contribute what they could. This year’s generosity in donations would not have been possible without those who donated in honor of his legacy.

None of this would have been possible without WMMR and the Preston & Steve Show. Thanks to their partnership each year through Camp Out for Hunger, Philabundance can continue the fight against hunger in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.
