Aaron Nola Gives $25K Grant to Philabundance

After being named the 2025 Philanthropist of the Year by the Major League Baseball Players Trust and honored at an event on February 18 in Phoenix, Arizona, Phillies pitcher and friend of Philabundance Aaron Nola announced his choosing of Philabundance as the beneficiary of the Major League Baseball Players Trust grant.

“Aaron Nola has been helping Philabundance strike out hunger for five years,” Loree D. Jones Brown, CEO of Philabundance, said. “We are deeply grateful for his generosity and partnership. Delivering food, hope, and stability to those of our neighbors who need it most is a collective effort, and we could not fulfill our mission without the crucial, consistent support of our donors — and friends — like Aaron.”

Nola is continuing his partnership with Philabundance in 2026 by naming Philabundance as one of the beneficiaries of his second annual charity poker tournament in April at Citizens Bank Park.
