Local Credit Unions Donate 2,795 lbs of Food to Philabundance!

During National Hunger Awareness Month in June, TruMark Financial along with 14 local credit unions hosted food drives and fundraisers to benefit Philabundance. Today, these credit unions delivered their collected donations to our Hunger Relief Center in South Philadelphia for a special drop-off celebration. They gathered essential food items like cereal, canned vegetables, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, and canned tuna, which will support those in need across our nine-county service area in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. Together these credit unions collected and donated 2,795 pounds of food, which equates to 2,329 meals! Along with food donations, several credit unions generously donated nearly $22,000 as well.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following credit unions for their support and dedication: BHCU, Citadel, Eagle One Federal Credit Union, Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, TruMark Financial Credit Union, Ukrainian Self Reliance Federal Credit Union, American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Merck, Sharpe & Dohme Federal Credit Union, Sun East Federal Credit Union, Superior Credit Union, Freedom Credit Union, Penn Credit Union, Tri County Area Federal Credit Union, and Ardent.
