GIANT Delivers Hams — and Hope

On Monday, March 16, The GIANT Company presented 450 holiday hams to Philabundance.

During their visit to Philabundance’s South Philadelphia warehouse, team members from GIANT also participated in a volunteer shift, during which they helped sort and organize donated food.

“Protein is the heart of a nutritious meal, and every family deserves that,” said Courtney Hopcraft, manager, community relations and strategic partnerships at The GIANT Company. “With this donation, we are delivering that essential protein to help our local hunger relief partners ensure families have this key center of the plate item for their weeknight dinners or special celebrations.”

From now until April 5, GIANT customers can also donate their free ham certificates to a local food bank. To learn about the ham redemption program, visit http://giantfoodstores.com/pages/free-ham.
