Acme Foundation, You’re Awesome!
This month when you visit your Philadelphia or Upper Darby Acme Market, you’ll see signs about the Hunger Is fundraiser and get an option to donate at checkout. Here’s a not-so-well-kept secret: Philabundance gets those donations!
We’re excited that this Acme location and Acme Foundation chose Philabundance as a charity partner for this year’s Hunger Is campaign. Every dollar donated at checkout will go directly to our organization. We’ll use the funds to give free healthy breakfast foods to food-insecure kids in our region.
Hunger Is, a charitable program of the Acme Foundation, has a very broad and ambitious goal — to eradicate hunger in America. The specific focus is creating and expanding breakfast programs for children.
Please stop by your local Acme and make a donation to the Hunger Is campaign from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30. Our kids will thank you.
