On Dec. 9, 2025, Matthew DeCamara joined Philabundance as its chief development officer. In this role, he will oversee all development and fundraising efforts at Philabundance, including annual funds, corporate relations, foundation relations, major giving, and development services. He will also act as the primary liaison for the board development committee.
Over the past 30+ years, Matthew DeCamara’s career has spanned corporate and non-profit roles on a local, national, and worldwide basis across industries, issues, networks, and functions. He is motivated to drive growth, deliver results, and generate large-scale societal progress that impacts children, families, and communities while championing opportunities for all.
Matt has held senior positions with leading organizations, including executive director of Rite Aid Healthy Futures, chief development officer at SeriousFun Children’s Network, SVP of strategic initiatives at United Way Worldwide, and program director at the GE Foundation. His areas of expertise include non-profit leadership, organizational strategy, corporate philanthropy, charitable fundraising, public affairs, and community partnerships. His work has also involved a range of societal issues, such as food insecurity, children’s health, and educational achievement.

Matt holds an MBA degree from Boston College and a BA degree from Villanova University. He resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children. He is an active volunteer for children’s health causes, including serving as a counselor at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut, and an advisory board member of Children’s Miracle Network – Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
