Community Partner Series Wrap-Up

Thank you to our community partners for helping distribute nutritious food in the nine counties we serve!

Over the course of the last several months, different departments across Philabundance worked diligently together to identify and capture compelling stories which highlight and celebrate our Community Partners, our “boots on the ground,” as we say.

The truth this, we couldn’t carry out the magnitude of our daily work without their passion for the Philabundance mission and their all-hands-on-deck approach to helping us feed as many neighbors in need as possible.

With the everlasting commitment of more than 350 Community Partners across the 9-county Greater Philadelphia region we serve, Philabundance is able to provide quality, nutritious food to 135,000 people in need each and every week. Our partners include food pantries, schools, senior centers, emergency kitchens, places of worship, community centers, and healthcare facilities. We truly believe that their noble, dedicated work, much of it on a voluntary basis, should be widely recognized and highly regarded.

If you follow philabundance.org and our social platforms regularly, you’ve likely seen our brief videos showcasing a handful of our Community Partners across the Delaware Valley. Our goal is to provide you with a firsthand look at the great programs and services they offer to their neighbors facing food insecurity. In addition, our hope is to spread the crucial message that one individual makes a world of difference. Just imagine what we could do collectively if we all unite in this fight to stop hunger now, and end hunger for good.

We invite you to watch our Community Partner video series to get a better understanding of how these upstanding individuals and community groups are going above and beyond to help keep their neighbors and their families well-nourished, while encouraging them to achieve a more fulfilled overall well-being and elevated sense of purpose.
